High School Visor Situation?
my high school district does not allow tinted/dark visors.
for the players that use visors, im talking about any of the grays 45% and down.
i mean, i think its not a big deal at all for us to be wearing visors.
first of all, intimidation factor, and second of all, safety.
you get poked in the eyes at the skill positions, and get thrown all over the place on the line, so it benefits everyone.
im not even talking about the super reflecting ones that like Brian Dawkins or LaDainian use, the link at the bottom shows.

dude i play football and don't get a visor you don't need one. I thought it would be cool to have one and so did everyone else and now no one uses them. They do not help that much in seeing especially when you can't have them tinted. i have never had a problem with getting hit in the eyes or having my eyes poked so as long as your facemask is good enough you shouldn't either. when you wear one it makes you so much hotter too. i didn't realize how much of the air you do manage to get gets blocked by having one but it does, once you play for awhile you get really sweaty and the inside fogs up. also they scratch really bad when you get hit and then its hard to see out of. at first it was cool but then it just turns out to be a hassle with the fogging and the scratches, get one if you want but from my experience they aren't that useful in high school football at least, now if you make it to college or the nfl or something thats a different story, good luck playing man.
